The Conservative Party has always been at its strongest and most successful when it fights the battle of ideas. And in that fight, we on the right have always had the best arguments.
It falls to every generation to make afresh the case for Conservatism and to revivify the principles which underpin it. Those principles have always been, and will continue to be, the principles which Conservative Way Forward holds dear.
Today, our economy is struggling due to Labour’s strategy of tax and spend. Our pensions have been eroded and millions face an uncertain old age. Our Armed Forces, to whom we owe so much, lack the equipment and support they need and deserve. And, our Public Services – in spite of massive cash injections – are failing to deliver the standards and quality expected in a modern nation.
So now is the time to reassert a clear Conservative vision as an alternative for our country.
As the leading group within our Party, Conservative Way Forward will be at the forefront in shaping that vision. I urge you to join with us, to give what you can, to lend your voice to the debate, and to help ensure that it is our Conservative message which guides the future for Britain.
